I have adjusted the privacy setting as suggested and then accessed my tree from a work computer (unconnected to my computer) and the full profile still shows.
That shouldn't be possible. I've never seen it happen, but if I were you, I would email info@wikitree.com; explain the situation, and include the wikitree ID of the profile.

Hi Keith,

I am presuming you are the manager of that profile. Because you are the manager you will see the profile in it's entirety. If you wish the profile to be invisible then the privacy setting must be set to unlisted. However despite doing this YOU will still see and be able to edit the profile.

The RED privacy setting will show purely the name of the person and zero details.

You can check what is seen by the public by clicking the public profile tab on the profile.

Hope this helps

Are you sure it's showing for the rest of us?  On the profile page there are two tabs to display the profile ... up on top, one on the right and one on the left.  The right one displays a 'manager'/'trusted list' version and the one on the left displays what everyone else sees ... sorry, if you already knew this and there's some other problem ...

Privacy can be updated by clicking the privacy tab at the top of the profile and selecting an appropriate level. Living people should be set to unlisted if you don't want them to show at all. Red privacy will give a name and decade of birth, nothing else, unless you are on the trusted list for a profile.

If you are the profile manager, you might try looking at the profile when you are NOT logged in to WikiTree, that should show what the rest of us can see.  As a profile manager, you would see everything, while logged in.
