Grandma is where grandpa should be. How do I switch them to the correct spot?

Hi Glen,

If you go to the profile of one of the children of your grandparents you can click on the Edit tab at the top of the profile. On the right side of the screen where the parents are listed under each one's name there is a link that says  "replace/remove father/mother" If you click on that it will take you to a screen where you can paste in the WikiTree ID of the parent that should be on that slot. You will need to do that for both parents to fully correct.

The easiest way I've found to do this to make sure I have all the info in front of me is to open each profile I'm going to need in the process in a separate tab in my browser before beginning the process.

Hope this helps!

You will need to follow that procedure for ALL children's profiles that have the parents switched, Glen.

If multiple children's profiles have the error, it's better to work on them one child at a time. Complete the corrections for one child' profile before working on the next child's profile to avoid editing conflicts.
