Found these comments on Ancestry:

MikeBurnham33 Cherokee Indian??: Believe from family lore and records that Lucy Lou was native american Cherokee Indian who was living on an island in the Missouri River near Boonville, MO in 1855.  May have been involved in Trail of Tears migration to Okla.  My grandfather (Clarence Robinson) visited Okla at a very early age, perhaps in a covered wagon to visit relatives. From Minnie Mae Robinson's application into the Northern Cherokee Nation in 1908/1909, said Lou Ann was born on an island in the Missouri River between Boone and Cooper Counties. 1880 Boone County census reads her father and mother were born in Tennessee. Minnie Mae made her statement that family tradition had always taught her, her great-grandmother, Elizabeth Parrot was full blooded Cherokee Indian. I found an Elizabeth Parrot in Overton County, Tennessee. Is Elizabeth Parrot the mother of Lou Ann Wolf or is she the wife of Josiah Robinson? John T. Death certificate said Sarah Ann Wolf, but 1880 Boone County census list her as Lou Ann Robinson.

I fine this very interesting. I have never seen the Elizabeth Parrot name always the Lucy Parrot name. Lou Ann Wolf Did marry a Robinson She is married to John Robinson. His father is Josiah Robinson.

There just has been many questions on who she was and if she was really Native American. When my dad did his dna test it didnt show native american it showed 1% African so this is why I question this.

In my heart she is Native American.

Thank you for your help. I have emailed this Mike and have asked questions.

I am not familiar with this family, but many of them are on Find A Grave.  I don't know how much of this is accurate, but there is an interesting page here:  http://www.angelfire.com/mo2/Ltwhtdove/page3.html
