MikeBurnham33 Cherokee Indian??: Believe from family lore and records that Lucy Lou was native american Cherokee Indian who was living on an island in the Missouri River near Boonville, MO in 1855. May have been involved in Trail of Tears migration to Okla. My grandfather (Clarence Robinson) visited Okla at a very early age, perhaps in a covered wagon to visit relatives. MWB

From Minnie Mae Robinson's application into the Northern Cherokee Nation in 1908/1909, said Lou Ann was born on an island in the Missouri River between Boone and Cooper Counties. 1880 Boone County census reads her father and mother were born in Tennessee. Minnie Mae made her statement that family tradition had always taught her, her great-grandmother, Elizabeth Parrot was full blooded Cherokee Indian. I found an Elizabeth Parrot in Overton County, Tennessee. Is Elizabeth Parrot the mother of Lou Ann Wolf or is she the wife of Josiah Robinson? John T. Death certificate said Sarah Ann Wolf, but 1880 Boone County census list her as Lou Ann Robinson.
