My relative, Gustav Stoesser was born in Schoendorf Germany in 1867.  I thought it was in Wurttemberg but not sure.  Suggestions?

The modern village of Schorndorf is located about 10 miles East of Stuttgart in Baden-Wurttemburg, Germany.

The modern village of Schoendorf is in Rhineland-Palatinate, Western Germany and has about 758 residents. The nearest places to Schoendorf are Holzerath (1½ km east), Holzerath (1½ km east), Hinzenburg (1½ km southwest), Hinzenburg (1½ km southwest), and Bonerath (1½ km northeast).  It is East-Southeast of Luxembourg, fairly close to the border.
