I don’t see an ending < / ref > at the end of the certificate source. It also looks like an asterisk was put before ‘Registration’ breaking the source up. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your answer!   I see nothing in the sources area other than [1].   Is there a way to retrieve the source information OR do I start listing it again.   I am a rookie at this and seem to make quite a few mistakes, Ron
If you add me to the trusted list or make the profile open, I can help show you where the problem is.  It is always a problem with a reference missing an ending </ref>.

Thank you Joe for offering up help!

Ronald, you can see the source in the 'Edit' box. We can't, unless we are on the trusted list. I went back through the 'Changes' to see the ref problem that I was talking about:

*<ref name="certificate of death">Certificate Of Death of Margaret Jessie Thoms Wilson, *Registration No. 451301683-921 (Mar. 21, 2002) , Ministry of

* <ref name="birth registration card"> Birth

You don't need the 'ref name' part if it's put down in the sources. That is for when you use it in the biography section. If used in the biography section, it would have to have < / ref > (without the spaces) at the end. If you want to keep it down in the sources just put:

* Birth Registration Card of Margaret Jessie Thoms Ladell, Certificate Number 150694 (Jan. 24, 1962) , Bureau Of Vital Statistics, Austin, Texas, State Registrar.
Sorry, I got called away yesterday.   Thank you for your help!

I will enter my sources without using an asterisk.    I have brought up the Biographies & Sources Help pages to study.   At 78 years I am finding that my retention span is not what it used to be.  Thanks again, Ron.
Looks good Ronald!

You will loose the last edit you made but it is only a typo correction you can correct after.
