Emma, the eldest daughter, is absent from the photo. I did not have the opportunity to meet any of them, but William (with the hat) was always known as a "fancy dresser".  The cute little guy (seated) is my grandfather, who died 7 years before I was born.

What a Photograph. I am sure it has been treasured down through the generations. All nicely dressed, The oldest girl has a very pretty dress and the oldest boy is dressed handsomely with the three piece suit , the handkerchief in the breast pocket, even holding a hat. Perhaps a derby hat? All he is missing is the pocket watch. How did they get so many children to sit long enough to take the picture?

The oldest girl seems to be in charge. "Hold still everyone. Just for one more minute."
