Two Isabel Stewarts married to two different Robert Bruces?

Stewart-991 Isabella married to Douglas Maitland Bruce & Edmonstone
Stewart-1180 Robert Isabel b 1350 d Robert s of James s of John s of Alexander
m Robert de Bruce s of Thomas de Bruce only lists two husbands for Isabella d of King Robert Stewart: Douglas & Edmonstone.

A different Isabel would explain this discrepancy.

Alison Weir is the source on peerage

geneagraphe does not provide sources and I have limited experience with this site so I couldn't comment on how dependable it is.

FMG only lists Douglas as a husband.

Alison Weir's book, BRITAIN'S ROYAL FAMILIES,  a copy of which I own, is full of errors. For example, page 13, she has EDHILDA, a daughter of Edward the Elder, listed as the mother of Hugh Capet, King of France, (938-996)

and EDGIVA as the mother of STEPHEN OF VERMANDOIS (952-1021)

She has also misassigned Isabel de Clare
Thank you. I have read one of her novels and it appeared as though it were well researched but I have found it is easy to make mistakes. That is why WikiTree is so helpful. As a community we can draw on the experiences of others.
