Shouldn't a purple heart be included in these military metal images

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Mil._template_images

so it can be used with the metals template?

These pages appear to be geared to the British Empire, not the United States of America, Stephanie.

There is a Wounded in action template/image that would probably be comparable to the Purple Heart.

These all appear to be medals for Commonwealth countries. Purple Heart is a United States award they are possibly somewhere else, but do not seem to belong in this table.
