Trying to find more information

Thanks for your response, apologies about dates...the wedding certificate is from 1881 at which time Robert was 26. His mark was an X which could mean he would not know if the spelling of his fathers name is correct.  It just says fathers name: Read Wing (Deceased) Rank or profession: Indian Chief. He was said to be from Brooklands USA.

My greats grandfathers were Tatankamani and his father Red Wing - He who painted himself Red.  Susan Frenier daughter of Winona or Abigale Crawford who was the daughter of Tatankamani, Red Wing 2, great granddaughter of Red Wing 1 Anyone out there also related..... would love to get in touch.
