I have my mtDNA but Britain DNA project. Is it of any use on Wiki?

Hi Everyone,  I'm researching Samuels, Prussia and England, also Blundell, England and Australia amonst others.

My question here is that I have my newphew's (sister's son) mtDNA.  He assures me it is carried on from mother to mother and mine would be the same as my sisters.  The DNA was done on the Britian project, so would it be any use here?  I am of the  U3a1 subtype with markers listed.

If it is of use where do I put it?

Thanks,

Because you aren't the one who tested, you would need to add your nephew on Wikitree, if he's OK with that, and then add the mtDNA to him - it will copy his DNA info to your profile and your female line within about 24 hours.

On his profile, go to the menu with his ID choose DNA, then the button for DNA Tests from that page. I think you'll need to enter it as the test type 'other DNA' and type the company name in the notes.

[edit because I gave the wrong steps, woops!]
