This is a wonderful  family portrait of sisters. Hopefully their decendants, especially these days can share the bonds these sisters were sharing when the picture was taken. Appreciate it not necessarily for ancestry sake but at least for their family sake and pass it down to others that can see a love that only sisters understand. Thank you for sharing your family with us.

I am guessing this picture was taken between 1897-1900.

What a quaint picture of the Ord Sisters. Love the broach on the first sister with the glasses.  All three have beautiful bows in their hair.  Their mother cared about them very much, making sure that their hair was well-done and they had nice clothes on.

It always amazes me when I look at pictures during this time era - how small the ladies necks are.  Love the stylish collars on their dresses and the way the third Ord Sister  has tilted her head toward the photographer.

I see a pole in the background that must have part of their background. I would love to see what they used for the rest of the background.

Thank you for sharing this very interesting photo.
