should this profile be protected to preserve "Unknown"?

Hi! This profile is in a proposed merge with a profile that has a surname. But the source for the surname seems weak (appears to be a copy of FindaGrave info, memorial 112428268, which has no source for a surname- indeed, no mention of "Love" other than in the heading "Mrs Margaret Love Montayne"). Is it ok to "name" this person Margaret Love?

edit - discovered she's a de Coursey profile, so changed one of the tags

I found some more sources.  In 1820 Margaret Montayne headed a household in Dallas, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, United States that included:

2 males under 10
2 males 10 - 16
2 females under 10
1 female 10 - 16
1 female 26 - 40 (probably herself)

"United States Census, 1820," database with images, FamilySearch ( : accessed 17 January 2018), Margaret Montanye, Dallas, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, United States; citing p. 301, NARA microfilm publication M33, (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.), roll 105; FHL microfilm 181,410.

In 1830 Peggy Montayne headed a household in Dallas, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, United States that included:

1 males 10 - 15
1 male 15 - 20
2 males 20 - 30
1 females 10 - 15
1 female 15 - 20
1 female 50 - 60

"United States Census, 1830," database with images, FamilySearch ( : 12 August 2017), Peggy Montayne, Dallas, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, United States; citing 315, NARA microfilm publication M19, (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.), roll 145; FHL microfilm 20,619.

I couldn't find any more that I am sure are for her in a quick search, partly because her husband's name appears to be spelled Montanye and at least one of her children spelled it Montagne.  The variants are a killer!!!

As long as it's a merge and one of the LNABs is already Love, I'd be inclined to keep it, even though the source is not a good one.  At least it's a clue (that should be identified as such in the bio) and better than just plain Unknown.

Gaile, although we have a thread of Loves in Luzerne, Pennsylvania, my Grandmother was a Love (her middle name) and my daughter's middle name is Love. Just couldn't resist when an opportunity presented itself. Fortunately both Grandmother and Daughter have been true Loves. What if either had been Blacksheep?

Dorothy!!!  Girlfriend!!!!  So nice to interact with you - it's been a while since we've bandied back and forth.

Do you know if there's a tunnel in that part of Pennsylvania ... could be called tunnel of love.

Please offer your grandmother and daughter some chocolates on my behalf, considering that their day is fast approaching!

Chocolate is my middle name. Hey, is there a Tunnel of Chocolate?
I'm revving up my engine, awaiting GPS coordinates of it - see ya there, soon I hope!
