the reason I ask this is because in history, DON PEDRO DE ANDA ALTAMIRANO, Who came originaly with HERNAN CORTEZ MONROY ALTAMIRANO PIZARRO, Who were the original Conquistadors, and DON PEDRO DE ANDA ALTAMIRANO'S Sons established themselves in Santa Maria De Los Lagos Jalisco, others went to Teocaltiche Jalisco, the problem we have faced on their genealogy is the problem of most of them only used their Parents last name Only, not their Maternal last name, untill the 1700's DOÑA BEATRIS DE ANDA ALTAMIRANO CASTAÑEDA was maybe, one of the first persons of this Ancestry to use both last names She married CAPITAIN DIEGO FLORES DE LA TORRE Y VELASCO in 1594, she was the Daughter of the Oidor de la Audiencia de Guadalajara, and granddaughter of the first DON PEDRO DE ANDA ALTAMIRANO, who came with HERNAN CORTEZ MONROY ALTAMIRANO PIZARRO.

If you go to the familysearch.org site and enter the name, Pedro De Anda Altamiranos, there are about 20 results. There is some variation in spelling. Most individuals were in Mexico, two in Argentina, one in Costa Rica and one in Peru.
