I think I found Effie on Findagrave.com at
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/35039347/effie-d-cheek
The good news is, there is a lot of information added to that memorial page. The less than good news is that you should not accept any information there at face value, since the sources aren't given. I am assuming that you hadn't seen this memorial before. There are quite a few family members named there, and when you are beginning with family history, you often have to take any clues you can find and then use those bits of information to look for better sources, like census information, birth records, etc.
The birth date listed for Effie at Findagrave is February 11 instead of February 10. Your date may be accurate. Even when a date is carved in stone, it may not be correct.
I'm not familiar with Rootsweb and what the ID# would mean -- I mean, I have seen Rootsweb, but I have mostly seen the forums there and don't know what can be done with an ID#. (I may learn more, but right now I can't comment about it.)
Please realize that most people don't really consider Findagrave a good source, since (apart from the headstone dates) it doesn't really give an idea of where the information came from. As soon as you are able to, try to add census or other supporting information to her page.
I am not a DNA expert. I just took the plunge and tested myself a couple of months ago, and it is helpful, but I think if I were you I'd start first with building at least a basic tree with sources, and then try to "branch out" using DNA.
You should probably re-ask the DNA question (in a new post and get the answers of people who know more than I do.
Come back to the forum and ask for more help if you need it, for finding additional sources or to help you with anything else. It will be easier if you add more facts to the profiles you have before you ask questions here. You'd be amazed at how quickly some people can come up with tons of sources. (I'm not one of those that can find sources quickly -- but I sure would like to become one.)
By the way -- Eddie King, who just beat me in answering you is one of those amazingly fast source-locators. You may have hit the jackpot already!
