There seems to be an issue with the parentage of Richard Kimball. I would like help with finding the truth about his parents.

Thanks for helping clarify matters regarding Richard Kimball and Ursula Scott--in particular, Richard Kimball's parentage. 

For those as yet unfamiilar with this family, I found an interesting webpage that helped me come up to speed on this family, although it doesn't delve into Richard Kimball's ancestry:

And looking at the WikiTree page for Richard Kimball, I see there is a special note about the disputed parentage for Richard Kimball, noting "Disputed Origins."

You are welcome. I have a request for you. Since I am not so good at adding sources to my wikitree family tree, yet. Would you kindly add the source that you just sent me to my tree for Richard Kimball and Ursula Scott?

There is actually another factor here, which is that with regard to adding some of the new material that is not yet present on Richard Kimball's WikiTree page, original sources will be required. Those sources do not appear on the page link I found, nor have I been able to quickly find sources (for such things as the inciden involving the remark in Essex about "fire and liquors").

It is always more difficult to find accurate documents on family lines, once you get beyond the colonial era. At that point, you have to rely strictly on church records.
