How to keep track of to-do items?

The number of profiles that I research is growing. Periodically I catch myself going on a tangent with a new discovery when doing a research for some other profile.

What do Wikitreers use to keep track of their genealogical to-do list? Does WikiTree offer any tags that can be put into the profile that would then allow me to quickly compile a list of profiles that have outstanding items I originally intended to follow up on?

I'm aware about the suggestion to use === Research Notes === section. But that's useful when one is already on that profile's page. What about a general to-do list in one place for all profiles that I'm interested in?

Might look at the To Do Freespace

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:To-Do_Lists

There is also a "scratch pad" under the NAV Page

perfect! thank you.
Yep, a Free Space to-do ... and it's easy to get to ... on a profile page or whatever, hover over the 'add' tab and click on New Thing ... on that page, on line 3, is a link to 'to-do list' ... voila!
I have a Space: To Do, and the link to it is in my Scratchpad

I have a little program called Pocket. https://getpocket.com/ it's a revolving door of items added and deleted.

I add personal categories to my profiles. See Category:Ryker-100 for a list.

When I create a profile without sources for parents or children. I will add personal categories Category:Ryker-100 Find Parents or Category:Ryker-100 Find Children.  When I have sources for the parents or children but have not the time to add them yet, I will add personal categories Category:Ryker-100 Create Parents or Category:Ryker-100 Create Children.

By going to my personal category pages, I get a list of profiles that need a specific type of information added. See Category:Ryker-100 for a list. I also link to my main personal category from my navigation page (my landing page).
