So like I've done comparing and I'm related to
Francis Cooke, George Washington and John Quincy Adams...

Interestingly, I'm not related to John Adams bit I'm related to John Quincy Adams lol like how can that be ?

Also if you are related to these people can you add that to your own profile ?
Thanks

Relationship Finder's results are only as good as the genealogy on which the results are based. If your genealogy and these others' genealogies are valid, then your results are valid.

If you are not related to John Adams but you are related to John Quincy Adams, that probably means you are related to JQA on his mother's side. Relationship Finder will show you the shared ancestors and lineages it found.

Some members list these relationships in the biography sections of their profiles. You can also put them in a free-space page, and link to it from your profile.

I likewise am related to John Quincy Adams but not John Adams. That’s because I come through the mother of John Quincy and the wife of John.

You can also add a link to the “relationship to me” tool that will show your relationship line to John Quincy.

Where would I put the link showing my relationship in comments on profile ?
I tried to do it using the tool and I did not get a relationship from you to John Quincy Adams. I am assuming that your link is something in your private files and not in Wikitree yet. If this is correct, you need to keep adding your Adams relatives back until you find some one else's work that takes you the rest of the way. John Quincy Adams is under profile Adams-12.

Ok. So this is how I would do it on your page to show your link to Cooke. Of course you can use any words you desire on your page to explain more about the link.  The brackets turn the link into a short descriptor that make the page look neater

* 11G Grandfather Francis Cooke, [https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Relationship&action=calculate&person1_name=Cooke-36&person2_name=Schnegelsiepen-1 Cooke-36]

To save a link to a relationship result that's more than 15 generations, you need to include &gen=25 at the end of the URL.

For example, here's the code I used to show my alleged relationship to James Monroe on my Presidential Relatives page:

* [http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Relationship&action=calculate&person1_name=Monroe-17&person2_name=Smith-62120&gen=25 James Monroe] - 14th cousins four times removed.

I learned something. Thanks!!!!
