Trying to prove that Andrew Sharp, born abt. 1807, is the son Thomas Sharp, born 1788.

I need this infromation for my application for Daughters of the American Revolution application.

Would help to know what state they were born and or their ancestor served he could descend from either Union or Confederate Sharp ancestors.

Thomas Sharp 1788-1847 and his wife Isabella McCullough both were born and died in Pennsylvania.  Andrew was born about 1807 in Pennsylvania and died in 1863 inb Marion, Ohio.  They are descendants of Capt. Andrew Sharp (1752-1794).  I have to prove that Andrew born abt. 1807 is the son of Thomas for the NSDAR.  Thanks
