, DESCENDANTS OF CHRISTOPHER HICKSON BORN 1796 AND ELLEN HICKSON ALSO HER MAIDEN NAME, IRISH DESCENT.  THEY LIVED IN JOHNSTON, QUEENS COUNTY, NEW BRUNSWICK CANADA.  ELLEN'S MAIDEN NAME WAS ALSO HICKSON, FATHER THOMAS LIVED IN SAINT JOHN NEW BRUNSWICK CANADA.

Are you looking for descendants Haley?  

The vital records of New Brunswick have a number of Hicksons. They're more recent, but may very well be descended.  Sometimes it helps to work in both directions!  

The 1861 Census shows two sons, Thomas and John.  It also shows that Christopher and Ellen were born in Kerry, Ireland.  

The boys at age 21 and 15 were born in NB. This means that they likely emigrated between 1796 and 1840.  There might be useful info in the irish records or the Irish Cultural Association of NB
