Richard and Apolline's daughter, Melvina, married George Moses Nadeau -- son of Francois Joseph Nadeau and Helene LaVallee -- which Nadeaus also lived in southern Quebec and moved to Clinton County, NY (Mooers, Champlain, Elllenburg, Plattsburg).
Richard and Apolline (Pauline/Polly) seemed to move back and forth between adjacent Canadian and U.S. towns, with children baptized in both places. Richard and Polly appear in U.S. 1860 census, but I lose them after this, with Melvina, by 1870, living in the home of her older sister Margaret, and Margaret's husband Antoine Nadeau.
