Hi Frank. I don't know much about him. He was my grandfather. He was married to Marry Constance Losen. He went AWOL during a war and started calling himself John McDonald but he was born John Roberts. He was a police chief in California at one time and had 5 children. Willam Richard Mcdonald, Ellen McDonald, Gary McDonald, John McDonald, and Janet McDonald. I would guess his dob to be Late 1800's to early 1900.
