Father of Daniel Greiner

I am looking for the parents of Daniel Greiner born 13 April 1786 in Germany, possibly Holsthum. His first name is spelled "Danielis" in the LDS records. He married Elisabeth/Elizabeth Schappert/Schoppert in 1813 at Sankt Lucia Catholic Church in Ferschweiler, Germany. He was baptized in the same church and had a brother Peter. The above dates are verified by church records on Thomas Pick's websites. Father is listed as Josef and mother as Maria.

His father is Josef/Josephus/Joseph Greiner born about 1755? First wife was Elizabeth/Elisabeth Flesch; second wife Maria Pfeiffer (mother to all Joseph's children). He died about 1797. Was a glass maker in Holsthum in the 1780 or so range

I have been trying to find Daniel's father for over 20 years and have looked in all the common databases (Ancestry, Rootsweb, Pick, LDS, etc.) with no luck. He is the "roadblock" to finishing my tree. Thanks in advance for any info

They may be able to provide copies of baptismal and marriage records of other family members or point you to where those records would be kept today.
