My name is Richard Diaz , I did my dna test on 23&Me. I just signed up for Wiki. My mother ,Deborah Baldwin, has been doing ancestry for about 8 year. I have helped her a lot and I am interested in finding info on my father's side and helping anyway I can.

Welcome to WikiTree Richard!
Hi Richard,

Welcome to Wiki!  I started a little over a year ago.  You are going to love it here at Wiki everyone is very friendly and eager to help no matter if your a newbie or an oldie!

Don't be afraid to ask any questions in the G2 area which you have found.  There is no stupid question and if you don't know the answer to a question there are many others that would like to know the answer as well.

There is a wonderful help section listing information on all areas, but still don't hesitate to ask for help in this area!

Once again welcome to Wikitree!

Taylor
Thank you.

Welcome too wikitree Richard Diaz (=
here is a list of things too learn right away that recommend before getting busy on your prolonging journey on genealogical research.

1. make sure in each profile's section where you document information too create your own sections with specific and categorized-type names in a "main internal profile categories" and inside that you make, the "Internal profile Sub-categories". The "wikitree style mark"(internal typing computer script) for these is (2x=) before and after the the name of main "internal profile documenting category." with a "space" on each side. For the "Internal profile Sub-categories" it's (3x=) instead of (2x=).
Examples:
Document below all cited general and or specific information in bounds with context of both "main", and "sub-internal profile categories")
== Family and origins ==
::'''First name, Last name'''
Born on xx/xx/xxxx in (locactional place-name)<ref>Citation</ref> is (use "was" if no longer living) the son of father<ref>Citation</ref>and mother<ref>Citation</ref>He married "Eustice Sutherland" on xx/xx/xxxx,in "locactional place-name"<ref>citation on marriage</ref>.They were the parents of two sons,and three daughters;(give names and general info of them as shown in this section, Give  more <ref>cited</ref>specifics on them that  in the subcategory of this main one with<ref>citation</ref>) for example:
=== Children ===
#John Last Name<ref>Citation</ref>
#Andrew Last Name<ref>citation</ref>
#Sarah Last Name<ref>citation</ref>
#Lillian Last Name<ref>citation</ref>
#Maggie Last Name<ref>citation</ref>
=== Marriages ===
cited Information on marriages and divorce data with higher specifics on children and family along with stories if wanted or needed all cited and referenced
== sources ==
<references/>
(this is always a main internal categorized section with only thing in it here is: <references/> with the (/)  in front instead of it being in the back like all the <ref>Citations</ref> you put after each statement on the different internal profile categories above.Last thing for now is that you can also have "Internal profile Sub-categories" such as follows:
=== additional indexed citation ===
This is where you can preserve the info that others left from an unorganized "Ged.Com import".Note: some of the info from "Ged.Com imports' is computer generated with broken links and may not need to be preserved.
=== see also ===
this is for additional Useful website links that is relevant to the profile and
contains additional information.
=== profile Credits ===

This is so great! Think I am going to copy it to keep by my computer for when I edit or create a new profile.
