Hi G2G

As my tree as grown it has become unweildy can I search just inside of my tree for individuals with out searching down the branches? Second there was an ask a while ago for information on a McCoy adopted  I think in or around Kidonan Manitobia or in the West. How do I find that old post?

Hi Ron,

If you use the drop down 'find' then 'search' menu and type details of the individual you are looking for it will bring up all Wikitree matches including your own profile, you can also sort the data to time period, birth date, last edit etc etc..

In terms of finding a specific post, you can use the search button in top left of G2G feed, but if its a post you have commented on or answered then go to 'my favourites' at the bottom of the feed, then along the top you will see a new set of drop downs including your G2G profile, all you answers and all your questions so you could find it this way!

If you ever see a thread you think may be important to you in the future add it to your favourites by clicking the + top right of the screen then you can find it easily!

Hope that helps
