aren't featured profiles supposed to check 100 degrees? [closed]

Question

clicking the link from https://www.wikitree.com/ ([check your connection]), and from her profile, both say "Sorry, no connection was found between Diana and Liz out to 10 steps." I thought connection finder would check to 100 steps on featured profiles?

I just checked another place - bottom of my profile says "Liz is 20 degrees from Diana Dill". Such a tease! With Kristina too - finds no connection (going 10 steps out), but at the bottom of my profile, it says I'm 19 degrees from Kristina Wheeler.

Looks broke.  My guess would be, the update fell down last night and the numbers are left over from the night before.

I think I missed it for last week's features - but I'm 17th cousins with Kristina, so that's cool. I'll just forever wonder how I'm connected to Michael Douglas (or not :)... looking forward to next week's, I mean, this week's featured profiles! Ooh - just checked a great-aunt's profile looking for someone else & she's 17 degrees from Diana Dill! Maybe I have time to poke around a bit and shave some more degrees off (or not...).

That was kinda fun. And no, I'm not going to figure out why the degrees add up to 21 & my profile said there were 20 degrees between us. (Not tonight at least - It's too far past my bedtime for math!)

Oh wait - I know. I went from Shepherd to Gill cuz I didn't want to type an underscore for Samuel Gill's wife Ruth van Meter, so I added a degree.

Wait until tomorrow - the connections have not yet been made. The link was done today. The updates still have to do the connections.

I think there may be a new connection tomorrow - Tuesdays usually means a new member of the week.
