Citing this Record:

Florida, County Marriages, 1830-1957, database with images, FamilySearch ( : accessed 6 February 2018), Harold V. Massey and Viola M. Triglaff, 25 Dec 1930; citing , Duval, Florida, United States, State Archive, Tallahassee and clerk of courts, various counties; FHL microfilm 963,543.

Viola (and her children) seem to travel  back and forth between Aruba and New York for some reason.
Here's another link you can examine, where they are traveling once again from Aruba.  There are additional children with Viola on this trip, so your Carla has brothers and sisters.  An older sister (Barbara) on the earlier ship apparently died while she was young.

Here are a couple of links that contain more information. This is probably the right Viola, since she has a daughter named Carla.

This is a passenger list from the ship "Telamon", which sailed on March 26, 1938 from Aruba, N.W.I., and arrived at the port of New York on April 2, 1938 with the following passengers:

Viola Marie Trigloff Massey, Female, age 30., born May 4, 1907, Address listed was Clintonville, Wisconsin, USA. (The children below have the same address).

Barbara Massey Female, age 5  born Sept. 7, 1932 in San Nicholas Aruba,

Carla Massey, Female, age 3, born October 25, 1935 in San Nicholas Aruba

(Source Citation: "New York, New York Passenger and Crew Lists, 1909, 1925-1957," database with images, FamilySearch ( : 2 October 2015), 6135 - vol 13205-13207, Apr 1, 1938 > image 271 of 1047; citing NARA microfilm publication T715 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).

There is also a Findagrave memorial page at

I hope this helps.
