I have an mtDNA ancestor - Elizabeth Smyth, b.c.1760.  Married James Farmer b.c.1760 known children Nicholas b.1778 & Honor b.1780.  Lived in Clonmellon Religious Parish, County Meath, IRE - Killallon, Oldcastle, Herbertstown.

Daughter Honor Farmer required a 3rd degree dispensation from the Catholic Church to marry husband James Battersby (meaning they were 1st cousins).  Consider Smyth or Farmer might possibly be related to Battersby.  James Battersby might have been military.  Granddaughter Margaret Battersby b.c.1802 married James Smyth b. 1799 (unknown if related).
