Is the drop-down menu for place names broken or is it my computer?

Question

Just noticing that I'm not getting the drop down list of place names, when editing a profile.  Has this feature been discontinued or is my computer malfunctioning?

I saw a notice on the familysearch.org yesterday that they were going to be doing some technical work this morning. When I tried to access some of their files, I got nothing but continuous "trying to load. " They seem to be back on now, so guess they finished their update.

Ah - that may explain it Shirley.  Glad it is not gone forever as have become very dependent on it, especially for spellings and when the state became part of USA

I'll let an expert answer this but I could swear that sometimes this feature works and sometimes it doesn't.

You may be correct Bart.  Just did an edit and it is now working.  Had checked it on many profiles for several minutes before posting and now it suddenly appeared :/

There is a place where you can turn it off or on, bottom right of the death place field. You may have accidentally turned it off.
