How do I get a merge of a man born before or at 1500?

Sir John Booth born About 1500 in Cheshire, England is the same person as John Booth born after 1491 in Cheshire England. I can't do a merge because I'm not approved for pre 1500 changes.

The Rootsweb and ancestry pages are no longer available, but the profiles do not list the same wives, different children. Please tell us more about your source to propose such a merge.

I looked at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Booth-4980

and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Booth-4746

The other profile has a link to thePeerage website which uses an early Burke's Peerage publication as source, and they aren't terribly reliable either.
