There are no separate trees on Wikitree. However, there are profile managers. If you ask to be on the trusted list for the profiles managed by your cousin, they can be transferred to you for management.

Use the forms at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:ManagerChanges to add another person as profile manager on a batch of profiles.
Thank you for your help but my cousin is still unsure how to do it.  He said he tried the bulk transfer and it would not let him????

He is at a loss and just wants it all transferred to myself so he can get on with other things in his retirement.

Thank you.

Maybe you can walk him through the process step-by-step.

  1. Go to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:ManagerChanges
  2. On that page, I suggest that he should choose "Add someone as an additional profile manager". I think that's the safest option.
  3. Hit CONTINUE.
  4. On the next screen enter your email address in the box. Make sure it's exactly the same email address that you have registered here at WikiTree. (If it's a different address, the process will fail.)
  5. Hit CONTINUE.
  6. On the next screen, he will see all of the profiles on his Watchlist, Click on "Select all" at the top of the page. That will add a checkmark to the boxes in front of all the people that he can transfer to you.
  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit CONTINUE.
  8. DONE!! Now you should be added as a manager on all the profiles he manages.

The process I described won't remove him from the profiles, but you can do that later, using the same page -- just select "Remove someone as the Profile Manager."
