Maybe in time for the Olympics but AncestryDNA allows  you to create your own playing card.  Here is mine.

Not sure what you mean.

You originally said "Maybe in time for the Olympics but AncestryDNA allows  you to create your own playing card.  Here is mine."

But there was nothing there.

That's odd. I can see the picture I posted of mine. Thank you for letting me know. Maybe because it was a PNG file. I changed it to JPG.
I think that because it is attached to your profile it is private and only the thumbnail can be viewed, which is pretty much worthless.
Thank you Chris!  I created a Free-Space Profile for the image.  Hopefully,  that works.
I see it! Very cool!! I checked in Ancestry and found mine!! Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing!
Very cool.  Where do I find mine?

This was great fun!  Thanks for pointing it out.  I did one for each of my parents.  They will love it!

I wish they would concentrate their development efforts into functionality that has a genealogical benefit rather than this type of gimmick.

A number of people were saying the same thing on Ancestry Facebook.. I know this is rather gimmicky and lacks substance. I doubt Ancestry will ever give us what we really want, a chromosome browser or better search abilities. which me and many others have posted to them about.  But just for the fun value I like this,
I imagine the overwhelming majority of's business is with people who are doing "ethnicity", not genealogy.  This seems to be a form of marketing to those customers.  It's cute, but it doesn't advance our genealogic interests much, except perhaps to create more DNA matches with no supporting tree or responsiveness to inquiries.  <Sigh>
That's a big problem I have with AncestryDNA.. My matches either don't have trees at all or if they do, they are locked.
