Can't go beyond error-FTNDA to Mito log-in

Hello: I got mtDNA result re-direct from FTDNA to Mitosearch.

It assigned me a numerical number. I created a password

When I go to save information, I just get a line of error message that follows a line including my confidential user name and password.
/edit_updaterecord.asp, line 118

Any help appreciated.

Was I supposed to use my FTDNA log-in info or do I have to stay with new numerical user name.

In the following Web address, replace XXXXX with your FTDNA kit number:

http://www.mitosearch.org/search_start.asp?providerkey=XXXXX

Then go to that address and see it that Web page displays a MitoSearch ID. If so, then in the following replace ZZZZZ with your MitoSearch ID

http://www.mitosearch.org/search_view.asp?viewuid=ZZZZZ

and then see if that page displays your MitoSearch record

Trying to understand the actions you are taking. Are you trying to add your DNA to WikiTree?

I tried the suggestion from Peter; as I had tested FTDNA and integrated with Mitosearch; but, I received error message that page could not be found. When I strip everything except: http://www.mitosearch.org I receive a page with the following:

Mitosearch
Mitosearch, the free, public genetic-genealogy database, is no longer accessible as a result of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that went into effect on May 25th 2018.

Also, I added my FTDNA results tomy WikeTree profile direct from FTDNA.

Dale, this is an old thread, now obsolete.  FTDNA discontinued both MitoSearch and Ysearch in 2018 when the GDPR went into effect.

They've been working on a replacement for them, mitoYDNA.org, but it's not fully operational yet.  You can register there, and upload your STR's and FASTA file, and some but not all comparisons are ready now.

Perhaps Peter or another can close this thread.

Thanks. Has the original question been answered?

I expect they were trying to add the DNA to their profile and needed help there.

Peter, I am fine to close this thread.
