What to do with old FTM Software

Greetings!

I’m Linda and new.  I’m a mom of four, one adult son and three minor kiddos Whom I homeschool two.  I’ve been involved in genealogy since the late 70s.  I currently have 1,489 on my family tree mostly my mom’s family.  However, I think my dad’s folks crossed that forbidden bridge and the two trains met somewhere down the track.  Anyway, I’m pretty busy raising my kiddos, and just sometimes I have to take steps back from family research.  Right now my dad’s side BROWNs is my brick wall although mom’s side has BROWNs as well.

Second reason for posting is asking for suggestions on what to do with old FTM software.  I have several versions that I’m not sure if I’ll keep or what.  I have versions 6 and which are really old.  Any suggestions?

Thanks you and I look forward in mingling and sharing info.

Linda

Welcome! Unfortunately, your old software is unlikely to be much use for anyone.

I guess it might be useful for extracting data from files created in the old format, but only if it's compatible with the hardware and operating system of a computer you have now.
You know I was thinking the same thing, which might be worth my keeping it.  I do still have an older computer.  I may try that before I update the computer.  Thanks for answering!
