Descendants of John Forrest.

+2 votes
Descendants of John Forrest. John Forrest migrated to Chicago about 1830 ish with his sons from Ireland. He was a newspaper man. His sons were also involved in the publishing business.
Although I am yet to do his page, I am aware that others have. Thank you for this, makes my task easier. My GGG Grandfather Richard Forrest was the only son that came to Australia in 1839. As he had eloped with his future wife Augusta, I figured he had to go somewhere different than his father John.
If you are descended from this particular John Forrest feel free to contact me. There's about 10,000 of us here in Australia descended from Richard and Augusta.

Hi Mark, If there is an existing profile for him then you can contribute information to it and link him to your branch, but please do not create a new profile for him.
