hello
my name is John Figaro of Red Bank NJ ...I am 55
My Mother is Martha Oakerson of Red Bank NJ ...she is 79
My mothers ,mother is Gertrude Feeny of Fair Haven NJ (deceased 1977)
Gertrude's mother was Bessie Tripple of Philadelphia PA ,later Fair Haven
NJ ... she married and raised many children. she would be my great grandmother, however, Mr Feeny is NOT my Great grand father,,,   it has been known for many decades  Bessie had her child(my grand mother ,Gertrude ) with Melvin Croman whom would move to California and start his new life & family. I am not here to change history or upset any family members, only to learn anything I can of MY Great Grand Father Melvin Croman.... my mom never wanted to investigate nor was she interested. When she 'passes' any knowledge wil go with her, I'd have never known about this. SHE did not know until 1960 , I learned when Grand mom passed in 1977. with todays technology it is a wonderful gift to know 'truth' about family lineage.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated ..
thank you kindly ,John Figaro

Well according to the 1940 census, he was a water heater salesman.

I've also taken the liberty of adding his parents and grandparents to wikitree.  I abandoned the profiles, once I created them.  It's pretty basic, but it is sourced and if anyone wants to take over and expand them, be my guest.
