I would appreciate any help finding parents of one of my ancestors.

Question

My great, great, great, great grandfather is Silas B. Patterson.  His profile is Patterson-1960.  I think that he was born around 1821 in Adair Co. KY.  He must have died before 1875 in KY.  He was married to Nancy Traylor.  His wife and at least some of their  children moved by themselves to Texas around that time.  I cannot find any information on who his parents were.  Can someone help find his Parents?  Thank you!
