i.e. is there a way on, say, https://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Raymoure to note that it can also be spelling Raymor / Raymour / Raymore / Ramer / Raymer? Thanks!

If you will look at the profile for Alexander Ritchie (Ritchie-3037) you will see how alternate spellings are usually managed......Richey, Ritchie are names that commonly have this concern.

Look at the top right corner.  There are alternate spellings there, together with how many individuals carry those spellings.

Unfortunately, alternate spellings only appear there if WikiTree imported them from WeRelate as part of a variant names list. That hasn't happened with Raymoure.

See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Variant_Names_Project for more information.
