I am trying to put in a death date for this man.  What am I doing wrong?? He was born in Mink Creek, MB and died in Sudbury, Ontario.  The dates are correct so what is happening here??

Error: Invalid data. The following must be corrected:

  1. This person has data indicating they are both living (Death Date 'still living') and not living (Death Date 1982-10-13, Death Place Sudbury, Ontario, Canada).
  2.

Hi Lauraine,

I can't get in to have a look, but it shows that you have his birth place as where you say he died.
If you put in a space after the dash that could be a problem, when you do it next time NO spaces after the dash.
It should look like this 2018-02-19 then click on the certain button.

I four the err9r and am ashamed to tell you it was a period in the wrong place!  Knew there was a reason whuy I didn't put in all the punctuation.  When I first put him down he was living but then died so I had him marked alive in the death area with a period.  Took me far too long to find that out but grateful I did.

Thanks so much for trying to help me.
