Donnie: Duff could be his nickname,or Census taker wrote down what

he thought his first name was.Often neighbors took in people.Look at

1850 Census,see if a Wilson 4 years old living near Lemuel.there are a

lot of pages too look thru.say do 10 pages a day,Remember when the going gets tough, the tough get going.

I found a Lou Ella Nalley (nee Wilson) who died in 1931 at home at route 2 in Easley, South Carolina at the age of 60 in the Greenville News, 25 December.  It lists two brothers, Duff Wilson on Easley #3 and Thomas Wilson of Glennwood Mills.

Two sisters, Mrs. J.M. Leslie of Salisbury, NC and Mrs. Sally Varn of Easley.  She was buried in the Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery.

Not sure if this is the same Duff Wilson, but I hope it helps!

Jackie I'm going to add this information as a note to the profile,

Maybe Duff Wilson 1846 could be father or uncle?
