Are Thom-460 and Thom-500 the same person

I have a Margeret Thom in my Ancestry, She was born around 1852, nobody actually knows Thom-500 and I have found a Thom-460 orphaned, born in 1848 in Aberdeenshire.

My Maggie allegedly married beneath her station and was excommiunicated. She left Scotland and went to Durban after the death of John Park, Park-2917 with 2 or 3 small kids in tow. Is there any way to link the two or dismiss the possible tie up. None of Thom-460's siblings have any descendants listed,  Thom-500 has no ancestors. Married in

Cathcart,Renfrew,Scotland

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XY31-G2C, also need info about John Park if possible

Could there be a marriage certificate for Thom and Park(William or John) most likely John though as the descendants have John's among them but no Williams that can link these two?

I have reason to believe both these ladies were from Aberdeenshire but cannot be absolutely certain at this point.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VB45-VXJ I also found a Margaret Thom from Midlothian, there is another Midlothian link in the family, I need to look for it.
