I edited the title because I am finding more potential problems with change I to L as a suggestion, if taken at face value.
A current data suggestion changes the letters of the suffix
763 Prefix in Suffix? Help (profile-333) l - Spelling Use uppercase i not L ( given name Surname J.P., D.L.
This has resulted in a in a Justice of the Peace and Deputy Lieutenant of the county ( profile-333 JP DL ) losing his crown appointment and becoming a policeman. (JP profile-333 DI)
The JP which is always in the UK a suffix now also sits in front of his name like a sore thumb!
( I've spotted a few others that have been similarly changed and other examples that are on the list and may also end up being changed This is the main reason I've mentioned it here; to hopefully prevent any more deputy lieutenants going through a career change)
The DD is only following the suggestion given which is why I haven't given the URLs of affected profiles.
1) Is it possible in the future to change this suggestion to alter L to I and it is also being flagged up for a person who was an LRAM (licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music, numerous people with law degrees LLB ,LLD etc They are false errors but as with DL they are at the same risk of being changed
2) Can I ask people making changes to check the biographies and make sure that the correction doesn't end up changing the facts.?
