John Perry Barlow recently passed away and is now connected to the tree. He was a lyricist for the Dead and one of the founders of the Electronic Frontier Foundation.  With Bob Weir, he co-wrote the songs "Cassidy," "Black-throated Wind and "Mexicali Blues," among others.
