I suppose it is *technically* possible, but not at all likely. The example you gave is almost certainly incorrect.

Clearly it is a typo. Both men are born on the same date, 100 years apart and are married to the same woman. I will change the date on the 'older' brother and initiate a merge of the two.

You need to change the date on the younger brother, if anything. Besides, they are the same person. Deleting one of them is the correct answer.
