my grandmother's father , Her mother Edith van Duser is born in 1889 at 16 she has a child Doris Adelia Heineman (my Grand Mother.)

United States Census, 1910 Edith van Duser is born in 1889 is 21 and single, living with her Mother and 3 brothers no mention of Doris whos already 5 years old. making Edith 16 years old.
A big RED FLAG : OK Whos your Daddy?
Edith's Marriage Cert and licence is dated July 28 1920
that makes Doris 15 years old at time of Mother's marriage to Heineman. Yet Doris has his name? Perhaps he Adopted her after marriage?
on the marriage says that a Dwight Knapp is her daddy but nothing any where to prove he is yet another then in a 1910
