He certainly emigrated to Queensland in 1890.

There was a Sidney Thick born in Wilton, Wiltshire in 1870 to Charles and Ann but his birth was registered in Q2 so he couldn't have been born on 26 July. He's aged 1 in the 1871 census and 11 in the 1881 census when he's living with his widowed mother in Frogham, Alderbury, Wiltshire.

He married in Q4 1889 in Alderbury to either Sarah Carter or Catherine Cutler ... although there's something weird here. Two marriages are recorded per page in British records of the time and it's usually easy to work out how to pair them off. In this case, however, the other groom, John Yarlett, seems to have married Jane Thomas. Give that the normal rule has broken down we can't be confident in the two possibles for Sidney.

He does seem to vanish after this in UK records so Martin's statement about emigration is doubtless correct although I can't see the record. Is his wife mentioned?

Hello. Don't know if you've seen this? It explains what happened to Sidney/Henry. It has been confirmed by DNA tests from both of his families.
