Notables question

Question

I'm working on some of the Notables for Freestone County, Texas.  When adding a link to the person, do I put Wikipedia or WikiTree (if there is one) as the source?  Eventually I'd like to add a page for each Notable for the county.

You find the wikipedia page:

[[Wikipedia: Famous Person|Famous Person]] will link to their name, but you must use the name AS PRESENTED on Wikipedia.

Forex:

[[Wikipedia: Doris Day| Doris Mary Kappelhoff]]

EDIT: I added the wikipedia entry in that style to Blind Lemon Jefferson.

Thanks Natalie.  I'll also add the Notables category and sticker to his profile.

In the History of Freestone, County, Texas, Volume 1 there is a little bio about Blind Lemon.  What would be the best place to put it - on his profile or a free space page?  Or I could just say "More info could be found in History of Freestone, County, Texas, Volume 1. Page 207."

I try not to put too much copyrighted material online like that if I can help it. It would probably be best to provide a citation to the source and let others go see. If there's an online link, even better.

Unfortunately, the History of Freestone County, Texas isn't online.  I'll just do the "more info can be found..."

I couldn't add wikitree-notables-project at googlegroups dot com since I'm not the Profile Manager.

You can quote a few lines here and there from the bio..some pertinent info...and add the reference.
