Is there any way “to do lists” on a profile could feed to a master list [closed]

I have added quite a few == to do list == sections to various profiles. (You know, when you are in the middle of something at 1am and you really need to go to bed so you jot down a quick to do list at the bottom of a profile). The problem is that I then forget which profiles have lists attached.

I’ve tried using a free space profile style ‘to do list’ but I can’t find a system to keep it updated easily, seems to involve a lot of jumping back and forth.

Is there anyway some tech wiz out there could add a routine/applet/function or thingamybob to W/T that would auto feed a correctly formatted “To Do List from someone’s profiles to a To Do List page/profile of the profile manager. Maybe just say a list of all that manager’s profiles that have a To Do List appended.

This is maybe not feasible but I thought I’d put the question out there.

Thanks

Johanne
closed with the note: I’ve found 2 great ways to keep on top of my to do lists. So I’ll just close this down. Thanks all

I use the little memory boxes on my own profile. A quick link to the work needed profile and off to sleep. Next wikitree work day click, tah dah,  then just delete the memory
Thanks Eddie, I'll definitely consider this as a potential solution. I'll trial it along with Louis' suggestion below and see which I prefer.

I still think there ought to be a way to automate the to do list thing but these answers give me some great ideas.

I'll leave the question open for a while longer but want to thank all who have taken time to answer.

Well I’ve tried out the suggested methods and have decided to use both.

Louis’ suggestion for all those to do lists scattered around my watchlist. (which it turns out I have quite a few of.)

And Eddie’s suggestion for the “I really need to go to bed and leave this for the next time” moments.

Thanks for the guidance Louis and Eddie

Not that I’m aware of. But if you go to the Add tab and click “New Thing” you can create a To-Do list. You just may need to add another column for what needs to be done. Hope this helps! :-)

Thanks for the answer Charlotte. I have tried this but found it a bit footery to use.

Create a personal to do category from your own profile i.e. paste [[Category:Alexander-9260 To Do]] to your profile and paste that to the profiles you add a To do list to as well. It is red the first time just click on it and save the category page.See more on Personal Categories

Thanks Louis I'm going to try this out to see if it works for me.
