I have been looking for a couple of days.  This man was  born in 1873 and died i28 Oct 1917  in WW1.  I have the transcription from his tombstone and still haven't found himl  He was wounded in Passchendale Belgium.  Am not sure but believe he was buried overseas and this stone is a Memorial Stone only.

It looks like he is a boarder in the 1901 Canadian census.  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KH5N-4LB

Here is the link to the Family Search index for FindaGrave  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q23T-CZVL

It looks like the Memorial on FindaGrave has been removed since the index was updated.
