How can Cunningham-2439 have a private father born in the 1790s?

I'm looking for duplicates and came acroos this Cunningham-2439 that states his father was born in the 1790s yet it is set to Private??  Could someone please fix?

It looks like the profile manager is still active -- I'd start with a message to her.

Basically as there are no dates the system has assumed her is not dead.

See this post for getting profiles ready for 2014, which would help solve things like this.

I don't understand how it got set to private?  I am confused on why sometimes the setting changes?  Please let me know if there is something I need to do on my end.  (By the way, it shows the little lock at the top open... so I though it was public?)

2439 (James) does show as green (the lock at the top is open).  But his profile says his father is private, born 1760's.

If you'll go to the Privacy tab, you can change the father to Open.  Which everyone born 1813 or earlier should be.
James should probably be open as well as he was born before 1814.
