I uploaded my gedcom, but I can't find my ancestors on wikitree

Question

I was hoping to add my gedcom to my profile, but I can't seem to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Say, so I manually checked off everyone of my individuals in the gedcom (the spredsheet that says Individuals, with ID, Name, Birth, death, wikitree profile).
On the "Add and Edit" box it states that all my in the gedcom are completed... So? Whats the next step? I'm sorry I'm confused, whats the next step to publish the gedcom? Again, thanks for your time.

Manually checking the names marks them as people you have finished with -- either you have finished adding their information to WikiTree or you don't want to add them.

Many members mistakenly think that checking that box will import a profile. It doesn't.

Add buttons don't appear on comparison pop-ups until all suggested matches for all of the starting person's nuclear family members have been confirmed or rejected.

When you upload a GEDcom, you must still process each and every person and make sure that there is not already a profile on Wikitree for that person. That is what the GEDcompare tool is for.

I think you have 30 to 60 days in which to do this - which is why you are encouraged to upload small trees. To give you time to check and compare all the names.

Correction: There is no longer a deadline for GEDCOMpare. The file will not be automatically deleted until 60 days after you last used it.
